White Glaze Color for Ceramics

You are welcome to select white glaze for use on your customized ceramics. However, it depends on your specific design if it will be needed or not.

The natural, unglazed color of the bisque is just-slightly-off-white. If you would like to have a significant portion of your pottery remain white, then it is best to simply leave that space unpainted.

There are other times when a white glaze can be painted ontop of another color, but if the undercoat is a very dark color, then the white glaze will be very transparent to the darker color.
